Consulting with Gil Paul

AI, grounded in
real business experience.

As a senior executive at Levinsohn Textiles, I work across business planning and strategy, sales and communications, product development, sourcing, and compliance. My role increasingly focuses on building custom AI tools to strengthen our offerings and improve efficiency and profitability.

I bring 40 years of business experience, a decades-long interest in AI, and hands-on experience applying it to real business challenges. I can help you and your business identify where AI can make a meaningful difference and put it to work.

Alongside my ongoing role at Levinsohn Textiles, I accept select independent consulting engagements with the company’s knowledge and agreement.

Services

What I can
help with.

Research & business analysis

Identify, organize and evaluate the business information, both internal and external, needed for meaningful AI-assisted analysis, immediate decisions and long-term strategic planning.

Product content & communications

Develop images, videos and copy that communicate what makes your product or service distinctive, informed by market research, competitive analysis and channel requirements.

I can deliver the assets or help your creative team integrate AI into its workflow to improve quality, increase efficiency and shorten production timelines.

Custom tools & workflows

Drawing on practical experience developing AI tools at Levinsohn Textiles, I will evaluate workflows and build tools to organize information, coordinate work and reduce repetitive tasks, helping your existing staff devote more time to growing the business.

These tools will also give leadership a clearer, more intuitive view of operations and business performance, supporting better-informed decisions.

Case studies

Tools I built,
at work today.

Each of these started with information scattered across too many places and work that took too much time. Each keeps a person in charge of the decisions.

Case study 01

Loom. Scattered information, woven into ecommerce listings.

Loom consolidates product information into one source of truth, then builds SEO-optimized listings for every platform, with sign-off at each stage.

A team of five over weeks became one person in a few hours.
Case study 02

Shelfie. Automated shelf health assistant.

Shelfie compares live listings against your real product information and available inventory, and flags each potential problem with a direct link for a person to verify.

A tedious task, too often set aside, is now done.
Case study 03

Handshake. Every retailer's compliance requirements in one factory agreement.

Handshake reads every customer's compliance manual and builds one master manual that covers them all, for your factory partners to sign.

Countless hours a year, down to a few.

I created Loom, Shelfie and Handshake at Levinsohn Textiles, and I present them with their permission.

How we begin

It starts with
a conversation.

Let’s talk about you and what you want to accomplish. Perhaps technology feels like it’s moving too fast, and you’re wondering whether you’re missing an opportunity.

A defined need can become a project proposal. Broader questions may benefit from a focused assessment and recommendations.

We will always agree on deliverables, fees and timing before work begins.

Let’s talk.
